I'm just wondering where i'll stand this guy at my college tells me he'll wax me with his 04 SRT I don't say anything back Just nod my head what do you guys think I have a AEM V2 and a Apexi CB Exhaust He tells me he has a BOV I/E that's it his car appears very stock seems a little fishy i'm thinkin he's got alot more than he's sayin

 

If thats all u have he will pull u. Try racing him from a stop. You have the advantage as long as you can launch properly. His strong point is a 40mph punch in 2nd gear which will leave you behind. An intake on the srt4 does nothing. A bov does nothing.The factory airbox is more efficient. This guy sounds like he doesnt know much about his car to name off a bov as a performance part. Good luck

 

i can vouch for the 2nd gear pull on the srt4, but tell him youll race em' though some twistys.

no my SRT-4 was traded in back in DE he's got a black 04 big talker kinda guy you know SRT-4 owners are like that see why I left that crowd lol yeah my S suits my life better performance with class

 

i think you could take a srt-4. yes youre only slightly modded but you have a huge weight advantage. with his ramble of "non" performance parts, he probably cant drive, and if you start at 45 in 2nd youll be nicely in Vtec and i think you could walk him. ironically a guy at my school has a basically stock srt4 and IM challenging HIM! hes iffy about it kinda like youre iffy about this guy. i say go for it

 

i was driving around campus and i was stopped at a cross walk bc of pedestrians and on the other side was this red srt-4. as soon as there were no more pedestrians he proceeds to gun it in first and let his BOV off as he drives by me. the whole time was looking at me with a really hard ass look. some white boy with a white tee and a red hat on slanted/sideways...
y are most srt-4 owners such douches?

 

stock vs. stock should be a good race, but if he has exhaust it really opens those cars up...if he can drive and you go from a rolll you SHOULD get pulled...but you never know what could happen...

 

my friend has an 05 Type S with hondata and well tuned and he pulls on stock srt4's from a roll. And he raced a stock s2000 and that was a close race. So to me it's all in the driver of the car... b/c the s2000, hondatafied rsx and srt4 should all be low 14 sec cars with decent drivers.
