SC G35 vs MYAP2 vs EVOVIIIMR
My ap2 vs the SC g35 from a 1st gear roll jumped him a car then by 3rd gear he was passing me. 2nd run he does a fly by and i have no where to go because there is traffic
Then me vs the mr on the high way 4th gear roll he took off first and pulled me and kept pulling then we did a 3rd gear roll lined up perfect and he pulled me and kept pulling. 2nd gear roll 35-40 mph i jumped 1 1/2 soon as i shifted in to 3rd he was next to me and by 4th he was pulling on me. The MR had atleast exhaust but probably more modifcations.

4.77's are actaully hurting you at high speeds, with the stock 4.10's i think you'd have kept up a bit better.

are you sure gears hurt acceleration at high speed? cuz i quite can't understand that,. anyone?
if you have 4.77's you can eliminate this possiblity by getting a Tune so peak power is made all the way up to 8700.
If the f20c, f22c made power all the way up to redline, a car with gears would pull EVERYTIME any speed.
ether way in your situtaion vs these other cars, the 4.77s were NOT hurting you.

there is a very small area speed wise (mph roll-on) where if a 4.77s vs 4.10s where the 4.10 car might have the advantage...it has something to do with 410s being in, or near peak power for longer.

above 100 all these geared guys are hurting, i've KILLED a 4.57'd s2k from 70-130, 2-3 cars.

Before my gears my friend in the evo 9 would pull on me by a 1.5 to 2 cars.
Hes putting down 274hp with close torque on the dyno from isp motor sports in maryland, so this car is no joke. I got my 4.77s installed and we ran now its a drivers race. I can start to edge him out the faster we go. We have not raced from a dig yet but it will be fun. I think gears help low and high speeds. How can they not?
When i get a tune i think i'll have the all around advantage on him.
