We were heading out somewhere to chill with some people, and on the way there, we decided to have a couple fun runs

in the first run, i shut it down at around 115 since that's the end of 4th gear and there was no point in going any faster. i started out in 2nd gear i believe since we were at around 50mph.

in the second run, michael turned off overdrive (i think?) and i started in 3rd gear so the gap wasn't as big

then in the last vid, we were just cruising when a c5 decides to do a fly by, so i downshift and chase after him and at around 120 i'm inching up towards him but i see a car in my lane about half a mile ahead so i decide to slow down (he would have eaten me alive anyways)

i'm supposed to go up against a 1st gen awd eclipse or talon, forgot what it was, he just has a few boltons, but we're going from a roll so the results should be interesting. i'll keep you updated

Nope, SC400 usually ran high 14's. SC300 usually ran high 15's.

when he went to the track he ran 15.5 because he couldn't get any traction, but we never tried racing from a stop since both of our tires aren't that great =[

 

I dunno yella aren't they v8s and thus quite heavy for 15s. and I think I went to car stats or something and checked it out I will look again later

Yeah, the SC400 had a 4.0L V8, was heavy but also had like 290hp. It was good for high 14's. I guess without much traction, mid 15's are more likely. The V6 was good for high 15's, low 16's. Pretty nice cars for the days.

 

kinda funny how a import has a V-8 Is the lexus sc 450 nice? I looked at sc300 but....most were 95% were auto and yeh the speed thing they were to slow

 

Toyota has had V8's for quite a while now. Honda needs to stick something up its butt and start making a V8 already.

There's no SC450. There's an SC430, and it's all convertible. It's a very nice car, but more like for the oldie type. It's pretty strong too.
