Anyone else getting revved on by the Scion (insert two letters here).

It seems that a lot of these owners put on a coffee can muffler and think they have a fast ride now. I'm not necessarily downing the cars (I kinda like the Tc but hate the Xa/Xb). It's just funny to see someone come up beside me and buzz me 2 or 3 times in these things...

Like I said, anyone else have this happen to them?

 

my friend has a TC so we joke around a lot...but I walk him every time.

it is funny though...I don't really get rev'ed on by anybody, except the quick cars, like Evo's, Trans Ams, etc

 

Occasionally around here a ricer takes his chances and gets more than he/she bargained for with me.

But there are a lot of Scions around that don't have any reason to have an attitude. The TC is okay in the looks department, but still nothing to take on a S2000 in.

 

My wife's daily driver is a TC. It is a very nice car for the money. Smooth ride, relatively nice handling, and pretty good looks. However, it is by no stretch of the imagination fast. There are some nice turbo kits out for the TC now too.

 

^^^ I know they are not fast, but I think the Tc looks really great. Nice pick 4wheelVFR with the black, looks great!

 

Seriously, save your gas.

 

What for? I race anybody even if I know I'll get spanked. Ahhh, just to hear VTEC. "Save your gas" is probably what all the C6 and 911 guys say about us.

I had a guy in a turbocharged Tc play with me about 4 months ago. I pulled on him, didn't pull away as quickly as I thought I would.

 

Yeah...I've never raced one (not really worth it), I figure they are wanting to see how fast the S is...I know I used to do that when I was younger and saw a fast car (get the driver to show off the power a bit).
