I turned out from Donut Derlicts and watched my rear view mirror as a silver C6 Z06 turned out behind me. Well well, knowing Sideways, who is in front of me, I thought better stay behind him and give room for the vett to get open. So on we go with Phil on the ready, but nothing from the vett. When we reached PCH I stayed in the right lane for the left turn leaving the other lane open for the silver and black. Once the light turned green we all made the turn and the race was on. Phil was off and I could hear the vett put it down . As I got walked, with only 383 to the wheels, Sideways put the hurt on him. I was six cars back as I hit 110 and watched the vett fall victum. At the next light the vett pulled up next to him and I saw the window roll down. Later Sideways told me that the question was "What kind of car is that?". But the best was watching the Cobra Mustang rolling with the vett give Phil a thums up. Later I wished again that I had a camera running, but it wasin't the first win I have seen and it won't be the last.

"What kind of car is that?" I responded with "A two liter honda. TWO LITERS." At that point his window went back up to hide the embarasment.

I thought that guy in the well groomed Mustang Cobra wanted some action and all he wanted to do was give me a thumbs up. He wanted nothing to do with racing me. I didn't even know he was back there as a witness. I found out they were together when I talked to the Z06 guy at CC. That Cobra was his old ride.

 

awwww man...another classic. Dave, Phil, you guys never cease to amaze me. I WANT A S/C!!!!!!!!!!!!! Give me a year or two...i'll be trying to run with u guys. haha

 

god damn man, i have half a mind to just fly there and go for a ride in your car!!!
