That mallet solstice would probably take our position on the pecking order. Didnt someone on these boards drop a LS1 into a s2000?
Haha... don't remind me

srt-4 started from Neon

Soltice and Mallet are still the same ugly car ( I drove one at a local test drive event it felt as a entry level cheap car )

S2000 is a great looking car, great handling car even stock plain simple s2000
is great value

This to me sounds like a wicked ride. But IMO, if you place another $20000 into an S2K, it would definately be at the top of the food chain.

Went to a Pontiac dealer yesterday (just cuz I'd passed it) to look at a Solstice due to everything that I'm hearing, first sight it made me think of a Toyota MR2 spyder and them ugly Ford thunderbird. The rear looked nice, love how they got them twin scoops but the headlights was totally ugly. Surprised that it comes stock with 18" rims with plenty of tires for upgrading to 20 inch, just for show that is. It's also too high off the ground, wondering what they're trying to do with it? Looks like a mini truck with that high of a ride, it might look good with some aftermarket modifications especially a drop.

My Dad has a friend that owns a Pontiac dealership (among others... although none carrying a car that I want) and can usually get deals at least equal to that of the employees. He actually asked me about the Solstice the other day, because he's thinking about checking one out. Mind you, my father is not the "car guy" type, and hasn't had anything sporty in the last 25 years, so this is a step for him. I don't think it is a bad looking car, and if he does get one, I'll definitely have to do some first hand comparisons between his car and mine.

But of course if he's looking at roadsters, I'll be trying to talk him into the S2000.
