Hey guys,

the two BEST boards that I have been to are this one and the Miata.net site (being a previous miata owner). Both are filled with enthusiasts who will do everything to help someone in need. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!!

The truth is that the S2000 is a great sportscar and so is the MR2 Spyder.
The Spyder and the S2000 are on different levels of greatness. How is the Spyder in any way close to the engineering marvel that is the S2000?

Tanq,

I assume that you are the same Tanqueray who posts on Spyderchat as Tanq. If you have been around Spyderchat for a while, I think you must realize that I am not a lunatic. My post on the S2K board was meant to be a heads-up for you folks. Ken Smiley is a dangerous character. He almost single-handedly destroyed our former EZboard and, to a great degree, is the reason we moved from there and started our own. About every three or four months, Kenny blows a head pipe and will start looking for trouble. He is an Internet Security Consultant and possesses the skills necessary to do you and your friends some real harm, if you like your board as much as I like ours. I don't follow Kenny around. Every now and then I go over to the S2K board and post a warning about Kenny. I have done it exactly twice counting the one above. I don't think that that qualifies as obsession. While you were reading the posts on Spyderchat, you may have missed this one:

Use your own best judgement.

Yer Pal,

Ed Black

Hey it's my old Pal Ed expousing how terrible I am. Hmmm guess you could pull up my posts here, what are there? more than 50 I'm sure, and do I cause problems? Nope. Do I have problems on the Ferrari, Porsche or Lexus boards that I frequent? Not at all. Seems that the only problem that exists is with Ed Black and his SpyderChat.Com site. Now Ed comes over here to "warn" everyone.

Yes, he has an obsession with me, stalking is a more common term these days, and attempts to follow me around the web posting about how terrible I am because I wouldn't be duped by him over on SpyderChat.

Ed claims I hacked SpyderChat - False. These are claims of a raving lunatic who is in possession of a fabricated text file that conveniently points to my static IP address at home at a time which I wasn't even home! So unless my kitty cat was hacking away at poor Ed's sight, he's holding a bogus document that backs up his bogus claims.

Ed claims I have mad hacker skillz and that I'm an internet security consultant, both are incorrect. Although I'm sure I could take the time to learn some skillz, what would be the point?

Ed is correct that I've been banned on the site that he and others run, gee wonder why? And while I'm sure I could log in under a bogus account, why would I? I don't own a Spyder, I don't have an interest in the Spyder. Ed is also correct that I don't own a S2000, but one of my best friends does and he and I read this board regularly and I help him out with his car.

Ed and I also agree on something and that is that both the Spyder and the S2000 are good cars, each has its strengths and weaknesses. However, we disagree over the attitudes of some of their owners. I support open mindedness, free speech, comraderie and letting others think for themselves. I'm not sure that Ed does.

I'm really rather surprised that Ed has come back over to this site, by his own logic he shouldn't be here because he doesn't own a S2000. He comes over here and in the same message says that I'm banned on SpyderChat but then wonders why I don't visit there or post.

I'll let everyone draw their own conclusions from my actions here rather than take Ed's word or my word for anything. If I cause a problem here I'm sure the powers that be will let me know, if I don't, then I'm sure we'll all get along just fine despite Ed's attempts to "protect" all of you from little old evil me!

BTW, I didn't even start this thread, made one response and promptly moved that response over to another Forum heading where I thought it was better suited which has since rolled off.
