If you're referring to that one thread in SE section, he didn't beat it, he stayed 1 car length behind, which was very good already. Apparently, his car is more moded than yours, and he said he's an awesome driver.

Of course anything is possible, but you shouldn't count on that kind of thing. Who knows if he'll mess up or not. If it's a little mistake, he'll still pass you quickly. If huge mistake, then you'll win. But that's so irrelevant.

You'll need a S/C.

Or you can just nitrous him.

You will get murdered if he has a ws-6. A simple exhaust can gain him some huge hp gains.

let's hope your exhaust gives you about 100hp...if the SS is modded it's game over.

I had a 99 z28 before I bought my s2000, I was hit by two civics racing down I-95 and lost control and went backward into the woods totalling my camaro. Anyways most ls1's put down anywhere from 290-305 hp to the wheels stock. Chevy underated the camaro and trans am because they didn't want people knowing it had almost the same power as their beloved corvette. If he is slightly modded usually headers, air lid, filter, and exhaust he should be putting down anywhere from 325 to 340 to the wheels. If he has a big cam he can easily be a 400 at the wheels. In straight line if he can drive an you only have an exhaust, you will get murdered. But that is all that car is good for going straight fast. My s2k is more of a blast to drive but I still miss the throw you back inyour seat, tire melting torque from the ls1's.
