Just thought you guys would like to take a bite at this. I really have no clue whether they're faster or not because I don't really care for drag. But a mustang friend of mine likes to and sent me the link.

take a bite at what? with those mods on an LX, he could easily beat an S2k...especially on the street.

We don't know what the S2k had and whether he was a good driver or not.

I don't know man, an LX 5.0 AOD with just induction and pully mods??? We're talking not more than 200rwhp with the stock heads/cam/intake/exhaust... Add to that a slushbox and 3200lbs, not a very convincing situation..

he had a shift kit...depending on what stage it was set to, it can be real aggressive.

besides, i never said one or the other should win. The s2k may not have known how to drive at all...but it's not something extraordinary.

not like he beat an Enzo or a Lambo or anything

don't go there...i'm a big mustang fan and that is a very stereotypical comment.

That's like me saying that you should add "tacky suit" to the list of S2k mods because the ones i see around here are driven by half-assed businessmen. or "turned up nose" to the nsx mod list because most around here are stuck up asses.

The majority of mustang (fox body) around here are teenagers. Why? because its cheap go fast power with some style. You will typically see more mullets with the older chevy's around here.

Sorry to jump down your throat. I guess it could been taken funny but i hate stereotypes most of the time. Sometime they're downright funny :-D

It's somewhat true none-the-less

With those mods that mustang would of NOT pulled four cars like he said. And if he did pull four cars then A: the s2000 owner does not know how to drive or B: He wasn't even racing.

I don't now how the car the Mustang raced runs, but that mustang would be lucky to run low 15's with those mods. Now if it was a 5 speed, it could be a good running car.
