on my way home from picking up my brother at o'hare airport. im cruising at about 78-80 mph in 6th. a mustang gt (late 90's early 2000's) creeps up on my right lane and slowly passes me up. just normal like. as if the gt was cruising just a few mph faster then i am.
so i up my speed a few just to stay ahead ("no one allowed to pass me" attitude. i know you all do the same thing).
then the stang gets caught up in traffic. about a min later i see headlights comming up FAST. it's the gt! it flies past me and levels it's speed up ahead so i down it to 5th and catch up. i pull up next to the stang side by side with a lane in between us. as soon as i matched speed (about 90) the gt guns it and i slam it into 4. stang gets about 1-2 length on me but i catch up real quick and pass. looking in my mirror and see that the Found On Road Dead was FAR behind. so i stop it at about 140.

as for the driver, it was 8:30 at night and the stang was tinted but my brother said it looked like a lady driving.

 

probably a guy with a mullet. 140 is too rich for my blood but good kill

 

i wouldnt call it a kill. im not even fully sure if the other driver was really trying.
just an encounter, not a true race in my eye.

 

GTs of that year didnt make much more HP than us. I can see you beating it like you did.
