I was making my way home from work this afternoon, sitting at a light waiting to turn left. Once the light turned green I rolled off and half way through the turn I suddenly got that "WOO HOOO It's FRIDAY!" feeling. Getting all excited, my right foot decided it was time to go and I matted the pedal. Middle of a slow turn, foot to the floor, I don't need to tell you guys what happens The backend steps out, I countersteer and stay in it, straiten out, slam 2nd and burn the tires most of the way up to 60mph. Once the apparent leg spasm is over I drop back into normal mode and cruise maybe a 1/4 mile up the road to another redlight.

After I come to a stop I hear, "hey, hey...", I look over at 2 guys in a big Chevy work truck pulling a trailer. The driver goes, "You wanna race?" and kinda laughs. At this point I wasn't sure if they'd seen my little show or if they were just trying to start something with the guy in a little loud honda. I replied, "Naa man, I'm scared of that thing." The guy laughed a little. Then I see the passenger lean forward and he yells, "DAMN MAN! That things got BALLS!!!"

I guess they did see me a little ways up the road. Totally made my day.
