Yesterday evening my girlfriend and I went and got ice cream. As we were sitting outside a red dodge viper pulled up. The guy was the most cock person I've ever seen. He backed the car in the first spot closes to the cream store. I kept glancing at the car, hoping the guy would be friendly and say something. GOD did I want to race him. Eventually he said hi. We started talking. He asked what I drove and pointed to the S. He then had a snotty lough. I ignored the laugh and continued to chat. Eventual I asked him what he'd do if he lost to a 4 cylinder? The guy again had a snotty laugh and said it'd never happen. (The funniest part was my girlfriend then had a snotty laugh of her own) I then asked him if he was sure about that and wanted to go to the highway? He of course said yes. Mr. Cocky did not even open his door to get back in his car he did the little I'm too cool jump and jumped into his car.

The highway was about 5 miles away. Once we got on the highway I yelled out 3 honks then go. We were going about 45mph. 3 honks and we were off. I slowly started to pull at round 55mph. At 80mph I had a car length and by 110 I had two car lengths. We started to get close to a construction zone so I let up. The guy never past me, he ended up turned off at the next exit. I was pissed, I wanted him to say something. I figured I'd get some sort of excuse. Hopefully he's got his tail between his legs and he'll find his way on this forum.

Interesting. Sounds like the viper owner could drive, or you wernt really laying into it all the way. I pulled a modded viper WAY harder than that and im at 508hp. Were you on a lower boost setting than your sig numbers?

 

yea the '04's have 510BHP, 535ft/lbs of Torqque

 

I never post in this section but had to due to the viper (my dream car is a 98 or 99 gts). It's a shame he was so cocky and not a enthusiasts but then again most people in vipers, z06's, amg's and 335i/m3 think they are gods. It
