At the local Sat. night races there was a Trans-Am (Ram Air) with a "Calvin pissing on VTEC" sticker on his back windshield, he told me he had almost 350 HP in the thing. I didn't think I would take it but god, do I hate V-8's. So we lined up and I dropped it @ 7000 RPM. I had him by 2 car lengths at the start and he never caught me. I ended up beating him by a car and a half. He was embarrassed to say the least, especially with that stupid sticker on the back. That's what I think I love best about our S2K's, people usually under-estimate them.

Wow, I wish I could have seen that. He must have been hanging his head the rest of the night.

I hear a lot of S2K owners saying that off the line their usually weak and are stronger when moving. I know the S2000's don't have much torque. But when racing off of a dead stop, I usually pull by a car or two and then by 2nd or 3rd get passed (if I'm racing something strong). My S2000 is stock, but if my start is poor, I'm finished from the get go.
