No offense or anything...I'm not doubting you...just saying that he couldn't drive a car to save his own life. He should be running very low 13's in that if not 13.0. I had 2 Ram Air Trans-AM's last year...a Firehawk and a WS.6. Never took the Hawk to the track but, the WS.6 was at the track all the time and she consistantly ran 13.1 with a best of 13.0. In other words...way faster than the S2k. By several car lengths. But, look what I'm in now... And happier than ever...the WS.6 and SS's are great fun but, I really hated the shifting and how they did handle quite well...it's nothing compared to the S2k. Great cars but, in a different leauge!

dean29 why the rude comment?listen up.i dont have a ws6 but i do know from www.ls1.com what they can run.bone stock is 13.1 at 109 mile per hour.ok now red blur says he pretty much stock a good running s2000 could pull 14.0 even in quarter.so shitty driver or not even granny shifting that ws6 would destroy him.now i like the s2000 and the ws6 but i gotta call this one im sorry.and again i mean no disrespect,but when it comes to kill stories well lets just say people dont always speak the truth.ive raced a ws6 in my 94 supra tt when i was near stock and it destroyed me.im full bpu now so things different but still.so anyways like i said im not saying nothing about your cars or the ws6 cars.but facts are facts.that is one of the fastest production cars being made right now.but take it on the twistys the s2000 would kick its ass.so each car has goods and bads all around,but im not here to judge.but in this was a straight line race not a race through the twisties.anways im out take care guys but dont believe every drive by kill story you read.facts are facts.


edit--> i read many car boards so i can see what the nice cars run.i only read sports cars boards and muscle cars to merely educate myself so know what im up against on the street or to even consider the car as a possible purchase in the future.im not here to bash your cars which i like by the way.ive read many posts on your forum today and well this one i just had to respond to.redblur i would pay i mean pay to see you run a ws6 dead stop to full quarter mile and beat him.just take 5 minutes out guys to research what even the slowest ws6 will run,you then will wave the flag also.this race could not depend on driver error,its just to much horsepower and TORUQUE(325hp 345 torque) vs less hp and torque.and yes i know the s2000 is lighter but after 60 and cars in a rolling motion weight not to important in a straight line.now i remember seeing a guy with a supercharger on his s2000(nice)that story i would believe then for sure.but this one is so (something not right)

I think you should have at least put some comments under your BS flag. Heck I can go to every message base in the world and post BS without a explanation. I thought that was a very weak 1st post.

I believe the stook could beat him. A lot depends on the driver and the car. I know a lot of guys who have modded there big V8s, especially stangs and they don't run any faster than stock. Maybe the guy didn't shift right. Who knows. I just don't think coming in and saying BS is a very productive post. You make yourself look bad.

So the TA can do a 13.0. You can do high 13s with a stock s2k.

If you say the TA would win with equal drivers then you have a good point. Just to say Red Blur is full of it is just a guess on your part...

yes its a guess on my part thats all it is thats why i said im not here to bash anyone or even redblur im just saying i dont believe shitty driver or not in FULL QUARTER MILE it could happen.maybe i should ask redblur how long they ran them to cause if it only 1/8 mile then if he got 2 car jump then maybe just maybe he could have held him off.

these quarter times arent that exact. Hell these times are usually done by really good drag racers. And most drivers cant drag race that good... Anything is possible. And you shouldnt go by facts. So youre saying a BMW M3 will run 13.3 by EVERY SINGLE BMW M3 OWNER? i dont think so. It all depends on the many factors, wet, temp, driver, tires, good launch or not. You are blind in my opinion jus to base it on "ohh the magazine or forum blah blah said it can do blah blah." Maybe they are right but its different in the real world. There are many factors. Hell all you know he can be getting a heart attack in the car!! It just really matters on the condition of the day and many factors. You have to take matters into effect.

but MugenS2000 this is what im trying to tell you 13.1 at 109 is not based on a good time.its there damn average.some are doing 12.9 at 111 bone stock.some self admitted bad drivers are even doing 13.6 at 107.so of course my eyes are open i always where the others persons shoes before it talk.thats why i said just do a quick search at www.ls1.com it dont take more then 5 minutes to quick search to find these averages.no need to get defensive guys this only my opinion my 2 cents dont mean much,at least thats what my wife tells me anyways. i raced one s2000 in my supra when i bone stock and i gotta tell for a car thats only rated for 152 pounds of torque he totally destroyed me off the line by about 2 car lengths.i mean this was like only 100 feet into the race and im seeing tail lights.i was very impressed to say the least.thats why i dont question the jump on the ws6 off the line,ive seen it first hand for myself.but ive also driven as 2000 camaro with the ls1 at the dealer and wow.the top end pull on those cars huge.just huge.needless to say that jump that s2000 got on me in my race with it really woke me up to the car and added it to one of my forum browsing sites.you guys add a supercharger and you got a serious,serious, car.

wouldn't be suprised though if its a new LS1 model.. i've raced a new one w/ either auto or a bad driver.. maybe both and it was pretty even.. he pulled about a car.. but it should be way worse then that w/ a good driver.
