Well I guess it was bound too happen sooner or later. Today it did, and it was kind of ironic. I got a call from a local Honda dealer that a "02" silver was in, and to come on over to check it out. I did and it's nice. (as airgate knows) It was a great day here in Va. so I decided to take the long way home on my 99 VFR. Out of the blue a S2000 pulls up to the red light I was waiting for. I looked over at him and I guess we both had the same idea. On the green we hit it. I left him with a quick start, but could see him pick up the pace when the VTEC kicked in and he pulled past. I downshifted and ate his lunch! I think we both enjoyed it.

I may catch hell by saying this, but I believe that most modern sportbikes of 600cc displacement or better will take most cars that are not turbo. equipped or supercharged in a straight line contest. When I say most 600cc bikes, I mean the F- series Honda's, the ZX-6's Kaw's, and GSXR 6. My bike (VFR 800) is no major barn burner, but it's 0-100 mph is still quicker than most cages. No flame intended towards the S2K, but I guess it's all about power to weight.
