Default VR4 and Stealths

TwinTStealth

Here ya go. I have aided you in helping you to teach us the ways of the VR4/Stealth.

Your absolutley right. It wasn't made for dragracing or autox. What does that have to do with this. Car is too heavy ot do any REAL damage? Hmmm, 200 pounds heavier than a Supra, which everyone here thinks is god. Simple weight reduction can shed that extra weight, just like any other car. Mod potential is getting better, there are a wide variety of turbo's to choose from. Finally even have Bigger housings to select, instead of the small/restrictive TD04 housing. It hasn't been the greatest aftermarket, but it's getting better.
What is has to do with is this....
Different cars for different folks. Your car was made to cruise fast like the BMW 840i and 850 il. It was not meant to be a dragster or canyon carver. As you know, I hope. The S2000 was not meant to be a dragster either it WAS meant to be a canyon carver and it does that very well. That is my point. Get it, got it, GOOD!

Just as the S2000 wasnt meant for it, but it does well, the same can be said about the VR4.

I had already stated that. It was MY point.

TwinTStealth-
You never said what you run in the 1/4. Do you mind sharing? I promise not to make fun of you for it Include what the weather was like and the estimated elevation, if you know. It helps compare times better.

Also, what all do you have done to your car? I don't even know what is possible on a Stealth/3000GT, other than what I know about other turbo cars.

I don't know where this came from.. Anyhey, I will gladly run ANY S2000 in the SWFL area. I've been trying for over a year to race an S2000 and everytime I see one it's driven by a retired prune or a 30-40 year old woman.

I had a 96 stealth tt i ran a 12.99 stock. The 1/8 mile time was an 8.6. I just sold it and bought an s2000. I am an avid stealth lover, Ive had two. The reason i got rid of it it was just way to fast for me. I have heard of other tt's and vr-4s running 13 & 14's in the 1/4. I guess i just had a good night. I will own another stealth one day, im only 20, i just need a little more time to mature. They were getting me into to much trouble.

P.S. Hence the name NVIZABL1!

Cheslea.

12.99 Okay. What was your trap speed? Anyone going 12.9 in a STOCK car will remember their trap speed especially since the fastest a VR4/Stealth has been known to go is the mid 13s on a GREAT DAY.
