Yesterday afternoon I had a few run-ins with some locals. I have an 01 with just an Injen CAI right now. All runs were done from a 45 mph roll with the top down.

First run:
2000 Integra LS
-intake
-DC header
-test pipe
-APEXi N1 catback
-Buddy Club cam gears
-Skunk2 intake manifold
-throttle body
-Phearable tuned

Freight trained him.

Next run:
1997 Prelude
-JDM H22A swap
-AEM intake

and

2000 Civic Si
-AEM CAI
-APEXi N1 catback

I pulled from both very easily while the BB6 edged out the Si.

Last run:

2003 S2000 (MySilverS2000)
-airbox mod
-GReddy Carbon Ti-C catback

The 03 had his top up with no passenger and I had my top down and one passenger. I pulled way slowly until about 100 where we both let off and I was about 1 1/2 cars ahead.

I don't understand how you could beat the '03 under those circumstances.

what am I missing here? just a better driver? from a 45 roll, that doesn't seem likely.

 

^ he never said it was a performance increased mod. the airbox mod was installing a restrictor plate
j/k. who knows. sounds like driver skills.

 

You're not missing anything. It just seems like I have a stronger running car.

 

why even post about the civic si and the lude? Pointless to even race either car as they arent in the same league.. now had you had a 4th gen lude turbo or a worked si the story might be something to note
