IMO...in stock form,it's not a speedy car off the line and ( to me) was always underpowered......but great fun to drive.Honda should bring it back with a TC or SC four or small V6.

it wasnt designed to be fast, just an enjoyable street machine to carve the corners. And i think a v6 would suck in a s2k. Part of the appeal is the raw feel of the high rev 4 cyl. 300hp in stock form from honda would be a blast. But we would still want it faster! Modding cars no matter how fast they are from the factory is something we will always do.

Hear*, Torqueless*

I'm sorry, but since when does a 14 second quarter mile count as anything but slow? Surely it doesn't constitute being described as fast. You're making about 125-130lbs of torque, yea it's got more torque than a lawn mower, but would you seriously ever even mention the amount of torque you're putting down when trying to brag about your car? Btw the fast & furious lifestyle is over, street racing in traffic is no longer cool.

Lastly this thread belongs in street encounters, but I'll enjoy it until Gigdy swats it over...

not saying its fast, they're saying its fast since that mustang is a low 13 second fox. lol there is never a moment of braging its simply all hondas geting bashed due to torque issues lol but we make up for it in different ways. and the F&F style? never heard it by that b4 its a first and i dont run cause its cool, just a simple way to get my Natural adreniline rush. racing such as this has been around for a long time. not cause of some movie hahaha. next time itll be there for somthing like this then lol

B/c N/A bolt on s2000's are slow is why they are called slow LOL. Do they handle great? Hell yeah they do. But honestly you aren't going to impress anyone putting the pedal to the floor going in a straight line in this car. 14 sec is slow. Factory sedan grocery getting cars are faster out of the factory nowadays.
