Ok my friend wanted to go racing so we go down to the local hangout. Well this time it was closed because some cops petitioned to close it due to an accident that happened from street racers. Now we're thinking we wasted our time driving all the way down to that hang out..


so we start driving back home going about the speed limit (round 45) on this road called dempster. The road has 4 lanes, 2 for each way. We were on the left lane. We were relaxing and i'm not video taping since I don't see any racing going on. All of a sudden we see two cars start to race behind us, an S2k and a civic Hatchback w/ gsr swap. Now I don't know if they didnt see us or what but those ****ers were going about 100 and they were still not slowing down.. The cars flash their lights at us so my friend downshifts and starts to go faster. The guy in the s2000 is in the same lane as us and realizes hes about to hit us. So he hits the brakes hard and starts to lose control. I'm thinking he tried to turn on the oncoming traffic to avoid hitting us cuz the guy went totally sideways. He was going about 100 mph (because he was passing us up and we were going about 90). then he did a 360 while trying to gain control, now the front of his car is facing the front of my friends car. All this while still on the lane with oncoming traffic. The s2000 driver is looking right at us and had a "I JUST SHAT MY PANTS" look on his face. My friend starts cheering saying "YEAH DUDE GOOOOO!! GOOGO!". Then the guy's car then drifts into a parking lot of a restaurant and his car stops perfectly on a parking spot. What are the odds of your car going out of control into an empty parking lot? lol. I still can't believe how the **** the guy survived. I can't believe how lucky he is and how perfect it looked, it almost looked as if he was drifting and parked on purpose. I would have rather seen this once then a whole day at formula D. All I know is if the guy wasn't religious before, he is now. I wish i was filming when this happened. :9 me and my friend are thinking about going back to dempster and taking photos of the skid marks lol. Oh yeah and the gsr had about a half a car on the s2k the whole time so yeah he wasn't to good of a driver. Funny part is it started raining real hard about 10 minutes after, and if the s2000 raced 10 minutes after it would be on the "totalled" list.


P.S. Maybe it was one of the guys from s2ki driving it?? it was a white male driving a black s2000 around 1 am on dempster, IL. ;d
