you shouldnt be losing to him especially from a roll. i used to have a 06 wrx and they were peppy around town but the top end wasnt that great. i wouldnt be surprised if his car had a tune without him knowing about it since he bought it used.

his car had a exhuast too and im thinking it had lots of work done,
it has a 04 exhaust on it when he bought.
so there were some aftermarket parts on it....

from what your typing it sounds like you dont know how to drive... just being honest... its simple drop your gear till your at least 6500-7000 rpm, step on the gas and shift at red line. If you miss any of the above stated then you will lose even to 1994 honda accord.

ok so your going 40 and your going to drop it to first? who in the right mind would do that
second is safer and i want my motor to NOT blow. have fun abusing your car. just being honest.
you can be in a roll going 40 and drop it in your (power band) when you have to shift 1-2k rpms

exactly... dont know why your mad... what im saying is if your not in vtec your going to lose to almost any car with more torque. Lined it up with my buddies d16 civic 4 door for jokes starting in 3 at 3500rpm and him in the proper gear took me a while to pull him HAHAAHAH
