Lots of misinformation in the comments of that vid...

 

Since when have internet video comments been full of wisdom and insight? They're the reason I avoid racing vids. I get a headache just imagining all the ignorance.

 

The confusion on power comes from the years. It depends on the year of the corolla. 05-06 XRS comes with a 170hp 2zz, with the trd supercharger it was rated at 215hp, 07-present XRS has a 158hp 2az. If he hasnt ever seen an s2000 run low 14's he is either 7000ft above SL or he must be looking with his eyes closed.

lets think this through. those are the corollas with the celica motor right? with BPUs and powerFC they can make RSXS-like power. some of those celicas are getting into the 13.9 range. so if thats the case, and the s2k driver sucked.....bam you got your vid.

 

it doesn't matter if he won...cause he's still driving a corolla at the end of the day (aka borrrrrrrrrring). i know cause i drive my mom's corolla when weather sucks and it's a nice car but boring to drive.

 

And at the end of the day you're still driving a 240SX. How is that relevant? I'm sure that Corolla owner loves his car as much as we love ours regardless of how ignorant he may be.
