$900.00: Does that sound right to replace 1 axle?!?

Anyone here ever broke an axle.....does 900.00 parts and labor sound correct??

For one or two?

If 1, that makes it 500-600 for parts and 300-400 for labor. I think the part sells for 400-500 on the net. But I think 5hra @ $80hr is alittle high. But I am only guessing on the labor costs.

yea it's for one axle at a honda dealer here in maryland and the car was already towed to this dealer

so far the lowest i found is $866 including shipping, but no labor.

When my left axle was replaced, the body shop charged $526.00 for it. Labor? I don't know, I had much more damage so the labor was around $1,800.
