So I walk out last nite from my buddies house...and I see it, my car looking like a breakfast dish. I was hit with three eggs all down the drive side. First off i freaked, being my car is only 3 wks old, then i spent about an hour spraying it down and washing it. Was this the right procedure? I heard the egg yolk will F*** the paint up. Has anyone ever had this happen to them. People are such a**holes.

If the egg sits on the car, then it will destroy the paint. It all depends on how long it had been on there. I would suggest giving it a nice wax job as soon as possible.

 

Man, that sucks. Egg will damage the paint if it stays on there and gets to bake in, but if you got it off fairly quickly, you should be OK. I'd be more worried about little dimples or scratches where the eggs impacted. Either way, screw the guys who did it!

look closely at where the eggs were thrown. chnces are there is damage... it doesnt matter how long the eggs were on, the impact usually makes small cuts into the paint . you will see a circular pattern of these cuts or scratches, dimples, w/e you wanto call them. Taking the eggs off early helps save the rest of the pain, bu tthe impacted area is still probly FU**ED. Happened to me, and i will shoot anyone i see with an egg next to my car in their head, maybe that impact will cause some damage too... assholes.
