Ok wondering about this, since the 2002 gas the rear glass defrosters, can you mod a 2000 and 2001 s2ks to have the rear defrosters as well? Anyone successfully install a rear defroster in a 1999, 2000, or 2001 s2k?

 

needs to be wired up and the top needs to be replaced with a glass-rear-windowed top. I didn't bother when did mine. It's not necessary in my climate.

 

I don't think you want to add hot metal wires to plastic........

 

You would need to replace the top with the glass one and wire it up. It is pre wired. You just need the harness and relay. Mine has defrost for the hardtop.
