Default '00 and '01 OEM rims same as '02 and '03?

Are the '00 - '03 the same RIMS. I heard that '00 and '01 are different from
'02 and '03?

They are the same style and design, but I've read that the 02-03 are specially treated so that they don't rust as easily as the older ones. Someone correct me if i'm wrong.

I don't know about the "rust" factor, but the MY00 and MY01's are stright silver and the MY02 and the MY03's have a very slight gold tent to them... which IMHO suck.

ah yes, the elusive "butthurt because I have the oldest car, but going to try to justify why to make myself feel better" response.

;)

I would prefer wheels without a slight gold tint, too. It does make 00-01 better in that respect.

There is only one difference in the rims -- a slight gold tint was added to the '02-'03 wheels. It is not to prevent rust (the wheels are aluminum); I've always assumed it's just cosmetic.

If it makes your feel better, it would be nice if I had the upgraded stereo with the clock and glass rear window
