Ok so Ive researched and Ive found that you can replace just the rear plastic window. But I cant find a clear how to on how exactly to do this. I called Honda i can get the window for around 250 just need to know how to replace it.
Sorry I know this topic has been posted before so maybe someone can point me in the right direction.

 

it's around here somewhere, i could've sworn i saw one but that was a year or so ago and i don't know where it is now...

 

i was thinking about when my plastic window cracks ,how would i fix it? i would try to cut out the plastic window just inside of the band of the top.next glue a good quality velcro strip around the border of the outside of the window opening.then get a quality boat plastic window and cut it out to fit past the opening.then glue the other side of the velcro to the new window.when cured put the two together.then apply a small seam of clear rtv along the inside seam of the velcro.this step may be optional sence it may not leak do to the top of the window is under the flap.the glue would have to be a type that is plyable.if the top is in good shape i would try this first.shouldnt cost more then 50 dollars.

 

the rear window area unzips from the rest of the soft top.

IMO, if it's going to cost $250 for just the window section, it's better to just replace the entire top. if you don't have any problem w/ having a plastic rear window, you can get a replacement top for $400.

 

my rear window doesnt unzip from the soft top!

 

The top is in perfect condition if i change the top I'll go with the newer one with the glass window but Id rather just get a new plastic one.

^ it only partly unzips not totally so you CANNOT just zip a new one in! You have to pull the top out.

So Yes it unzips BUT only after you disassemble the top.

 

there is also a vendor that sells a replacement window that may be cheaper than the Honda piece. I cannot remember who the vendor is though.

That being said, if you look at the amount of work needed to replace the window you may as well upgrade to glass.
