01' S2k pricing in the North East?
Hey all, looking into getting a S2k here in NY, should I be expected to pay more than MSRP? There are dealers selling S2k with hardtops for as much as 37k?!?! Does this make sense? is this price grouging normal??
I understand the 02' 's could be had as early as Dec., should I just wait?
Please help,

Try Kea Honda in Nanuet, NY. I think they are about half an hour to NYC. I had mine shipped down to VA. I did business with Dave Sultan and got the car at MSRP. Here is their link http://www.keahonda.com
Thanks,

I would try D&C Honda in Tenafly, NJ (10 minutes from GWB). I was in last week for service. A salesman indicated they were letting them go at list.
Additionally, I purchased mine at Middletown Honda (1hr north of NYC). They apparently have a policy of nothing over MSRP on all cars. Got mine at list w/ mats for MSRP in Sept '00.
sales@mail.MiddletownHonda.com is the address for the internet sales manager - - - Thom Perna was there when i bought mine.

From what I've seen and found out last night you should be able to get a 2001 for under MSRP.
A dealer here is buying 2001's with no miles from auction for between $25k-$26k. So, I'm thinking close to invoice should be reasonable pricing given the fact there are many more out there now, and winter is not that far off.

Brown's Honda City in Glen Burnie, MD currently has (6) in stock (DX'd from all across the country)! Because the 2002's will be showing up shortly they are looking to get rid of their current '01 inventory. Ask for Tim (president) tell him his friend Dave in VA sent you. Looks like they had many colors and options.... even a hard-top model.
Good Luck!
