I was just reading Automobile magazine (september issue) and it says that the '02 S2000 will have a glass rear window.

Full quote:

"The high-revving S2000 roadster continues to sell at a crisp pace, and it gets a glass rear window for its convertible top, livelier interior trim, and more refined shifting action."

Does anyone know if this is true? Right now I'm really close to buying an '01, but if the '02 does have a glass window I will definately wait for that. (One dealer thought they would have '02 models in October.)

Also has anyone heard anything else about what will be new on the '02 models?

This had been discussed ad-nauseum for the past few months (years?). Do a search (or look a few pages back) for 'grass rear window' yes - grass, it was a typo. It's a long thread with links to pics of the car with the GRW...
