Default 02 S2k

One of the features I like most about the S2k seems to have been compromised by the 02 model. The pictures I've seen indicate that the Nose has been rounded off and softened. The great aggressive shark nose look is gone. Tranny problems aside I think there may be a back lash in Hard Core S2k enthusiasts against the 02 Model. Who needs Glass.? Who drives the S2K with the roof up?.

See the picture in the October issue of MT and the text refers to Minor Facia change. Unless the camera angle is deceiving! I see a slightly softer nose and treatment around the "Fog light place holders".
BTW any one knows where I can get a Set of Driving/Fog lights for My S2K (Original Equipment)?.

Facia usually refers to the dashboard area, not external bodywork. I heard a rumour that possibly the indicator lenses on the front were to become amber instead of clear, but have not checked the photos yet.

You mean the other way round! I think you guys are right and the angle that shot was taken gave me the wrong impression.
Now how about easy way to get clear lenses for the front and some nice fog / driving lights
Has any one got an Idea or has actually done an install with pix?

Silver or chrome rings around the rear taillights is all that's mentioned.

"Who drives the S2K with the roof up?. "
........More than you can count on your fingers and toes and any other appendages you may have!

"Who needs glass?"
........Same answer as above. That's all people have been talking about since this was announced. Ask how many owners have purchased big buck hard tops. Amongst other reasons is the one that involves "glass". And what about all those who are willing to shell out bucks to have their soft tops retrofitted.

Not everybody lives in LA LA land and drive their cars only when the weather is "perfect".
