Years of driving English roadsters with fogged up rear windows caused me to wait to order the S2000 until the advent of the glass rear window. Funny, I remember my '63 Ford Galaxy convertible (bought new) had a glass rear window. Seems like it should be standard on all drop tops by now. And I agree that there is no reported change to the front of the car.

My comment was a little tong in cheek! But touche! anyway. I'll be the last to argue with a Fireman or an associate of one. As a New York resident I have the utmost respect and admiration for the work and great sacrifice of all Firemen, specially during this most horrific of disasters that has befallen this great country.

Your kind words are most appreciated.
Even if it wasn't tongue in cheek, your opinion is always of value and was not slammed. I prefer (rather than the word argue) to say we have "friendly bantar".

Now how about easy way to get clear lenses for the front and some nice fog / driving lights
Has any one got an Idea or has actually done an install with pix?

Since noone has replied to this, here is a thread that has what you are asking about (driving lights).

As for clearing the amber lenses, there is no easy way. It requires removing the light assembly and using a heat gun to disassemble it and remove the amber piece. The trouble comes when you are re-assembling it. If you don't get it right, it'll capture condensation badly. It also takes hours to do. Buying overseas OEM clear lenses are expensive and they are "backwards" (the notch in the headlight pattern is reversed). I believe there is some info on the FAQ section of the site (NOT forum FAQ). The search feature will get you a load of things to read, too.

I plan on buying the JDM S2000 front headlights since they are already cleared out and I don't have to go through all the trouble of trying to clear it out myself. What does the " notch in the headlight pattern is reversed " mean? I've seen the prices on the JDM headlights. They range from around $1000.

Look at your headlight pattern next time you are driving or even better, look at them when they are pointed at a wall. You will notice that the light "line" for the left (on N. American cars) is slightly lower than the right and where the left and right lights meet, there is a "notch". This is so the glare for oncoming vehicles is lessened. Right-hand drive cars have this reversed. The right light will be slightly lower and the "notch" angle is the mirror image of ours. You might never be able to align these properly for your use.

Thanks Xviper, Indeed it is a friendly banter. and you are correct the Japanese Headlights will always dazzle oncoming traffic and therefor will be illegal in the US.
