I was quoted $31,600 for a 04 with factory trunk spoiler and alarm a few weeks ago. Most places wanted about $31,500 without the 2 factory options. Go to Cars.com and get price quote from local dealers and then negotiate from there. Good luck!

Yeah, I figure about 30 grand for an '04. But I'm seeing some '03's for anywhere from 23-25!? Is the 2.2 worth the extra cash!? I'm not sure it is.

the 2.2 the nicer wheels, the nicer headlights the led tail lights, if choosing a rio the rear spoiler ( i mean this because its the only color that is new) the better resale value being that is newer. etc

ohh yeah it was worth it for me. twice.

NEWSGUY,

I have never owned an 02', 03'...but, a few of my friends that have say that the 2004 model is more of a day-to-day driver. I can't back up their claims; Having not owned a later model S2K. I love my 2004. I just hit 500 miles and I made sure that I hit it while hitting V-TEC. What a RUSH!

So, if you can live without knowing what an extra grand on the tach. feels like, and can afford to do so...buy an 04'. I went to the dealership on the last day of their monthly billing/sales period. They gave me $3,000.00 over KBB value for my 2003 TL Type-S and discounted my Suzuka Blue for $30,500.00 with 3.9%.

Regardless of year...You will be one Happy Person

My $.02

Thanks for the responses. SO far the best deal I'm finding is 31000, with the headrest speakers installed for 500 more. Seems like I could do better. Meanwhile, I've found an '03 certified with 17k miles on it, for 23,500. That almost seems like too good of a deal to pass up!?
