Default 04 Door panel -> 00?

It's my understanding that the 04 door panels provide more elbow room. Can anyone confirm that this is a reality?

Will fitting the 04 door panels on the earlier models provide more elbow room or is some modification needed to the door itself?

Cost?

Thanks

shouldnt need any modification, but while your at it, but the tweeters to go into the doors since you will have the spot now. I have a full set of 02 stock speakers and tweeters available, if you want them let me know!

Hi Chet,

I got to spend some time at a local dealer, checking out a MY03 and MY04 back to back. I can confirm that the MY04 does have a little more elbow room than the older versions. The difference is enough to be noticable but it was one of those things that if I hadn't been able to compare them, one right after the other, I probably wouldn't have noticed it.

FWIW,

Hmmm an '02 up door panel in an '01 would probably help sound a bit wouldn't it? I have speakers behind the seats the lucid kit and still find the '02 system to sound WAY better stock.

How much for the door panels?
