I was looking in to buying some '04 oval tips but saw a pic of the install, they seem to stick out too far. I read on another thread how someone had the exhaust pipes trimmed to make these not stick out so far but no pictures of how it looked after.

Anyone have a pic of how they look after the pipe is cut and they are flush?? Also do you think theres a possibilty the exhause gasses will discolor the bumper?

No one has used these yet? hehe or maybe they just left them sticking 2 1/2 - 3 inches out

 

Even if they sat flush, I don't think they match well with 00-03 bumper openings imo.

 

You are right, the oval tip and round skirt dont mix well. It's mainly the size of the oval tips I like, next to the '04 the tips my stock one look like they belong on some mexican's low rider Impala - too small.

Anyone got pic's of other round larger diameter tips?
