FYI. The 04 new wing will fit on the 00-03's. If you already have the OEM deck spoiler, the holes drilled to fit it will not be covered if you change to the wing spoiler.

I actually like the way that it looks... only can I can not rationalize paying $500 bucks for an OEM wing! then again, I really can't see paying $500 bucks period for a wing...!? It's functional purpose is very small. 90% of the wings owners put on their cars are for nothing more than show... maybe 10% get out to the track where it makes a difference. Does anyone expect it to drop in price at all? I can see paying about half of that. ...For now though... seems like there about a dozen other "functional" mods that I'd rather add to the car...

The price will not drop since its original honda, will probably be the same for a long time. If it would be a smaller manufacturer then we could expect some kind of drop in price with time.

I have to laugh at all the various opinions....ugly, I hate it...it looks great! We all have different views.

I ordered one from HardTopGuy and it arrived on Monday. It was dealer installed today as there were no installation instructions and I did not chance "drilling" the rear deck. Even the dealer refused to install it at first because they had no access to installation instructions through their on-line sources. I think I forced the issue through intimidation. "Come on guy's, it's only 4 holes".

Verdict; its beautiful! My 03 in GP white is vastly improved. As an OEM part, Honda sculpted the wing perfectly to match contours and lines of the car. The paint match was perfect. Now the S "looks" like a "race ready" sports car.

Highly recommended!

I will try to get some pics up in the next day or 2 if I can figure out how to use a digital camera and post it. Today the car is too dirty (cold rain and threat of snow).

later...
