04 oem front lip question

04 oem front lip question

i am installing my 04 front lip and there is a piece of grey rubber that lines the top of the lip. is this something i should take off after i finish the install?

it does fit fine. it just looked kinda weird at first since it wasn't white.

i think its there to protect the bumper from scratching against the lip

It stays on. Looks fine on my suzuka and assures a water tight fit.
