My car only does it when it's cold. During this time, do everything you can to avoid the grind, each time it "gritches" or "grinds" you are wearing the synchros... and it will continue to get worse. I've actually taken to driving in second or skipping second when the car is really cold. Kinda sad.

Hopefully it'll be something Honda is gonna take care of. Time for a tranny fluid heater?

 

1 to 2 change is a little notchy until the car is properly warmed up but other than that it is buttery smooth.
