Default 04DelayValve Temporary Solution?

Slippage was getting worse everyday. Car didn't pull hard between the shifts.
I even had to shift little early (shortshift?) to avoid nasty slippage.

Then I realized that when I apply gas just little later than I used to, delay seemed to be minimal... (but still there)

You guys think that I lose some performance if I do Gas-Delay?

Sooner or later, I will have to change my slave cylinder with 03s.
(my mechanic said "I ain't doing no ring-pulling sht, but would do the valve swap if it's simple" -hmm.. is it hard for entry level mechanics?)

ring pulling, took 1hour the first time about 20mins for my friend's the 2nd time around. Make sure you have a nice automotive pick though as that makes the job doable. Switching out parts, would be even easier but it's your money. bleeding the system is simple also, just need a partner. do a search as someone made instructions for both ways of doing it

Yes....gas delay is the immediate fix other than shifting slower. Your not hurting anything by doing it.....but your transitions won't be as smooth and you'll be spending more time "riding" the clutch.

Plus if your driving aggressive or on a spirited run....you don't have time for gas delay which is the whole reason for removing the delay.

hmm.. so Gas-Delay would hurt the performance...(doh)
SO.. theoretically, delay-valve removal would give better 1/4 mile time?

THanks~
I will definetly do the swap. (I need to find some picture of cylinder to show my mechanic... because I still don't understand "shorten the pin with a dremel tool".
Isn't dremel tool for the making hole? why not use the saw...?..ect)
