He's thanking you for posting a "textbook" example of an AP2 dyno chart, since there's been much debate on what an AP2 is capable of.

I just bought this car a month ago & wanted to see what it could put down on the dyno so I called my buddy at IPS Motorsports and did 3 pulls.

2005 S2k done on a DynoJet Completely bone stock

The car made 211.16 RWHP 148.21 TQ

with a 85.17 degrees F with a 40% Humidity ) Would be a little higher if it wasnt so hot

What do you guys think??
mine looks a lil diff but topped off the same... and mine is almost stock
-J's intake, J's 70rs w/ test pipe,Berk header, Hondata ECU

Not likely. The graph has a correction factor of 1.03, which takes into account the temperature/humidity differences. Set the correction factor to 1.0, and you're probably only putting down about 205whp.

I thought 211 was low b/c my buddy has a 05 S2k and put down 214.58 whp 151 TQ bone stock like mine we bought ours around the same time and they have about the same mileage . I guess I have a good motor then . I'll be putting on a AEM Intake and getting tuned with an E-Manage and want to hit 220's I'll let u guys know when I get that done here soon!.
3 hp is nothing, that could be from anything, 211 at the wheels bone stock is pretty nice IMHO.

OK, so stock AP2s make about 20 more whp than AP1s and 20 more wtq. They should be noticable quicker than AP1s on a track. Are they? (not a wind up question - genuine want to know).

This is mine about a yr ago, bone stock in about 33d C weather. I notice also my pre-VTEC dip is a lot less pronounced that the one posed by the OP. No wonder I though it wasn't working when I first got it.

Most AP1s in good tune I've seen at dyno days I've attended were in the 200 to 202 rwhp range. For the only dyno day I attended that had both AP1 and AP2, the AP2s made about five hp more.

I haven't heard of AP2 cars being any faster than AP1 cars - gearing and redline come in to play, not just hp.

Oh, OK, I thought most AP1's were getting around 190 stock. Mine is a UK model that is supposed to run on 98 Ron - I only have 95 and some good heat to deal with. Maybe that's why.
