sorry if this has already been asked, but i tried to search it and the search has been disabled for some reason...

but does anyone know if a strutbar that says it's for the ap1 will fit the ap2 or not?...i plan on getting a beatrush strutbar and don't know if it'll work or not...i've bought the ARC cooling panel and tein hood dampers that said they were for the ap1 and they went on my ap2 with no problems...any info would be appreciated...thanx in advance

Yes they will fit.....they are interchangeable. AP1 and AP2 are the same.

Just like the "X-brace"; on '04's and up, the benefit is dubious.

a strut bar is for ascetics only - there's no way you're going to stiffen up that I beam under the air box & the S2000 does not have struts

an x-brace does help transfer road vibrations (potholes and bumps) across the whole chassis

Are you kidding me? You mean to say that one of the stiffest convertibles ever produced can't be improved by bolting on an ubiquitous aftermarket part? Damn honda for taking away useful modification options.

yeah, wrong one.....the STB does NOTHING but empty your wallet

get yourself an X brace for better chassis feel.

Actually, the best mod in this respect would be a custom alignment.
Mine improved handling, feel, roadholding and decreased tire wear too!
