i actually am leaning towards the 05 rather than the 06. i know what's coming up for the 06, but i'm really just looking for a brand new car...05 ot 06...however, i'd like to test drive the 06 and see the difference between the two.

I bought my Certified Used 04 on July 4, 2005 weekend for a great deal. Car was pristine and only had 5000 miles. She had been treated like a princess...

Of course, what I saved on purchase price, I've spent on gifts for my baby:
--car cover
--Colgan Bra
--changed mind and bought Invinci-Shield (but couldn't return custom-made Colgan)
--seat back satchel from Muz
--full complement of car care products
--custom made sun screen
--winter tires and wheels
--bluetooth headset
--bluetooth enabled cell phone
--Kodokan seat locks
--California Duster
--license plate frames
--vanity plates

And I don't think I'm done yet

I'm going through the same thing. The lease deals on the '05 models are really enticing right now, but after hearing a lot of horror stories, I'm a little scared of driving the s2000 without VSA. I feel I'm a pretty good driver, but I've heard the s2000 is really easy to spin. Can anyone confirm or deny if this is true on the '04, '05 models?

not making statement as 05 owner, but i don't like changes on 06.
seats, rims suck. don' know about the new driving aids systems, but
don't think it worth a wait or price cap. but i would love stereo upgrade.

Until someone posts on the board that they sat in the new seats, test drove with VSA on and off, jacked up the stereo to test the 8 speakers, and floored it to gauge the DBW, no one can really make an informed decision...

what sucks is I can't see an 05 still being on the lots when the 06's come out, from the info I am getting from dealers around here.

I am in the same boat as you guys.
I am in teh market for a new S2k.

I am set on Rio yellow, so the color changes on teh new 06 doesn't effect me. Couple of members of the forum here recommended 06 for the better stereo to me.

I am not a fan of DBW as my min cooper s, has it, and it sucks. Maybe honda's is better.

What prices are you guys seeing on the 05s? Local dealer has 8 still left, and saying he will have 06 in another month

Asking 29,800 before taxes+fees.

I am in Los angeles.

I have heard 1200 more for a 06.

Dilemnas suck!

Life was so much better when I was 4, and didn't have such things to worry about as model years
