I turn off my vsa cuz i thought it might help a bit, and honestly it does. Thats why i always turn it off.

They didn't crash BECAUSE they turned of their DSC, they crashed because they drove beyond their or the car's limit for the condition. It wasn't the DSC's fault, it was theirs.

If I had it on the S, and it was not intrusive I would leave it on 99% of the time.

Of course, I don't have it, so I just have to drive within both mine and the cars limits all the time. No biggie.

Gee, what a concept! Seems like I remember someone else suggesting something like that not too long ago!

This is the first I've ever heard of the DBW being noticeable. Every other opinion I've heard said that it's transparent. Man...

I read your post, but it was the VERY next one that blamed that hardware/software for what was so obviously operator error.

I hope someone more knowledgeable chimes in, but I suspect the throttle lag is more VSA than DBW. My guess is the VSA is lagging the throttle to keep you from breaking the rear end loose. That's my theory and I'm sticking to it (for now).

i agree that the lag is more related to VSA and wheel spin than DBW lag. i drive a 2006.

Hmmi have a horrible lag spot betwen1900 -2300 rpms.If i am in ANY gear whether it be second or 4th at a steady pace and slam my foot down i feel a noticable lagebvery time.It is really annoying.

I will disagree that this has anything to do with the vsa in my cas anyway, it's not like i am at a high speed when i slam it so a great deal of power is going to the wheels.

Saying that not once have i turned my vsa off and until i am on a track i on't inend to do so.

Well for me, every time i turn off my vsa it seems fine. Its when its on that it does that. Its suck a gay and unhappy feeling that kills my mood. So if i even think the vsa will help me out, i turn it off everysecond i see its on.
