They didn't crash BECAUSE they turned of their DSC, they crashed because they drove beyond their or the car's limit for the condition. It wasn't the DSC's fault, it was theirs.

If I had it on the S, and it was not intrusive I would leave it on 99% of the time.

Of course, I don't have it, so I just have to drive within both mine and the cars limits all the time. No biggie.
