They just showed the new 2006 s2000 on the speed channel. They did not go into detail but they had the laguna blue and were driving the car pretty aggressivly. It was beautiful . Well if you tune to the speed channel there talking about the new civic si right now. Just letting you guys know and if anyone seen it? thanx

 

Yes, saw the show. It was a half hour show that was all about Honda's history. The next half hour show was about the new Honda Civic SI.

 

I hope some road tests come out soon.

No the cars attract far too different buyers...

 

I Tivoed that show hoping to see a lot about the S2000 since it was about Honda performance, or whatever. The S2000 was mentioned 4 minutes from the end of the show, and was on screen for less than 30 seconds. Glad to see Honda backing the car so well.....

BTW, did you guys see the Corvette Z06 Test Drive show that was on that same night? Incredible.... From what they have been able to do with the wins at LeMans, to the new 3,100 pound 505hp Z06, they have earned my respect. I know 90% of the guys on here hate it because it does not have a Honda badge....Oh well.

 

I was considering both, if you would have caught me having a practical moment, and the 2006 SI was out, I could have gone that way ..

If S2000 drivers only wanted the fasted $30k car, we would be driving ugly awkward Mitsibishi Evolutions.

 

i have neither seen nor heard anyone, anywhere, say that they dont like the c6 z06. that thing is just a monster.
