I searched but couldn't find, "Does my 07 still have the same head unit as previous models?" I mostly listen to the exhaust and road sounds but sometimes a passenger might like to hear some tunes. Anyway, the stock unit could use some improvement. Thanks for any help.

 

the only difference on the 06/07 head units from the 04/05 that i know of is the 'XM' function.

 

04+ all have XM capability.

 

Yeah, same junk as before. It's actually somewhat decent if your car is off and your top is up.

Wow, didn't know that, its so awful that I almost never turn it on. The roll bar speakers are absolutely useless.

I was thinking of upgrading the speakers first but I want to fit where they are and I have not found roll bar speakers yet. Then after decent speakers upgrade the head unit but to be honest, I have gotten used to listening to the motor.

 

Thanks, That's what I thought. I'll just hang until something comes along for the audio. It's not a major issue with me. I've only got a few hundred miles on it and haven't even heard/felt the VTEC effects yet!
