take a vacation, send your parents on a nice vacation, take them to dinner or a nice show to show your appreciation. Save the $1000 until you really need something. Any of these type of things would be fine.

There are so many things that could use your money. Modding your S in neat and preferable, but should not be the first thing on your list.

+1 on what some had said so far.....SAVE IT!!

I've dumped so much $$ on cars, modding them, and similar things and I have VERY little to show for it. Save your money and enjoy your s2000 the way it is. Or, perhaps invest it. I got just over $4k back from my taxes this year (will take out less next year) and I simply increased my 401k % from 10% to 14%. You'll be far happier later on when you have saved teh $$.

Sorry to preach, just my .02

Sure, saving money would do wonders in the long run, but who wants to focus on the future?

Get a V1 and front lip.

IMHO save it towards your next car or whatever.

A radar makes no sense to me because once it goes off, it's already too late. You can be cited for appearance of speeding in some states AND most officers will just hand you more citations if they see a radar detector (Not to mention it's illegal in some states). It's also another reason for car thieves to break in your car, thinking that you have performance/other stuff in the car.

One more vote for saving.

I've been avoiding the modding bug..it's SO hard. I've only added rick's clear side markers and headrest plastic thingies for wind turbulance...that's it. The's car's good enough as is for me.

Gas, oil changes, and tires will quickly eat up your $1k

Although if I was actually going to spend money, I'd get a new head unit so I can actually hear my stereo. Until then, I sing my own music.
