Saiyajin,

I'm not going to be around this Sunday.

We really need to get coordinating. You definitely need to come out to the Salamander. If we could find someone with 4.44's too that would be awesome.

I think ET for 4.77 should be faster in 1/4 mile. By the time extra shift is need, S is already at 100+MPH and extra 1 to 3MPH top speed gained by 4.44 near the finish line will make little difference in recovering lost ground. Remember, even while shifting, S is still covering ground at ~100MPH.

Thats because you won't find a lot of drag racers on this forum to begin with. Plus there are too many different variables with 1/4 mile tracks, so a drag pass won't be conclusive.

I would LOVE to see a video with a 4.77 equipped S2000 running a 5-100 street start against a stock car. That real world result is something I'd be interested in.

No ones done a run with the 4.44s either? I have them and will give it a shot in a week or two. Any ideas on what rpm to launch at?

Between 6000-7000 rpm. That should get you a nice 2.0 or 2.1 60 ft.
