1/4 mile with 4.77
Do you have a Gtech or access to a track?
I would like some real numbers to go with the gears regarding acceleration. Everyone has said, "Yes they are great and it totally changes the car, I give them a thumbs up!"
This unfortunately does not give us, who do not have the gears, a whole lot of objective info to base our buying decision on. If you could do several runs with a Gtech on a flat deserted area from a non-launched start with the 4.77's that would be great. I think a lot of members are afraid of compromising cruising comfort because they don't actually know how much of a perfromance gain there will be.
Thanks to anyone that can help.

Bump.
Anyone gone to the track with an otherwise reasonably stock S2000 with 4.77s yet?
Not that its a track car, or I will bring mine, but it would give us an idea of how well these things work.
EDIT: By track I mean 1/4.

Hmmmm, so after Three long pages nothing yet huh? I know everyone is notorious for using the "This is not a drag car" comment and I understand. But there has to have been at least ONE comparison between stock acceleration times VS 4.77 acceleration. Anyone?
I haven't done a quarter mile but I was at a track coming out of a tight corner going onto a long straight against a stock 350Z. We exited about the same speed. He was behind me and said I pulled on him. I was also able to get to a higher speed before the braking point. I got to 195 kmh. He reached only high 180s. His driving skills are similar to mine if not better.
So, I guess that means the 4.777s make quite a difference.
To put into context, I also have the Amuse dual r1, intake, 11 lb wheels.
