same times as the pre04 about exactly. 0-60 also. Going by magz and time slips from owners here on the s2k boards. Actually I have seen several pre 04s hit 13s timeslips but not many 04 time slips, but I'm sure its the same.

Anywayz they are pretty mcuh dead even on performance times, if you have timeslips that go faster than stock pre 04 models about 13.8 1/4 or so for very good drivers than prove it and make your case

Steven no offense but you dont even have an s2k do you, so how could you tell or know. Keep your yapper shut

Being that I've owned an '01 and an '04, I can safely say that in a straight line the '04 is slightly quicker. A buddy of mine owns an '03 350Z track model, and we've raced from a roll in a straight line numerous times. In my '01 we'd be basically dead even, or one of us would pull on the other by a bumper. It was always way too close to really say. For the record his Z is/was stock, and my '01 had an AEM CAI.

Now, in my '04, I've been able to put a car to a car and a half on him. This is still with his Z being stock, and my '04 S2K is also stock.

This is just my personal experiences with these cars, so someone else could experience different results (ie: the 00-03 being quicker than the '04). Who knows, it could have been how I did the break-in on my '04.

I did not get the chance to track my car this year, so I will hold off judgement of how the '04 compares to my old '01 until next year when I get some track days in.

I can say this ,i raced an my04 with my 01 from about 40 to 105 or so on the highway.I was ready we were side by side holding the car in second gear at 5500 rpms and just punched it .It was the same till the end of third then i started to pull away from him slowly .Once in fourth i was starting really pull away. And just for the record my car is completely stock and i had my top down, his top was up and presumably he too was also stock .
