1/8th mile times...
I know drag racing isn't everyones cup of tea on this site. That's cool with me, if I had the choice of the two I would rather do a road course but as of right now I don't and I really just wanna race lol. So my question is do you guys think I can pull an 8.6 in the 1/8th?
I have 255 Hankook RS3's in the rear, flashpro with a launch limiter at 6k, gutted box w/ k&n, invidia 70mm header back basically, moddiction knob and gutted trunk and spare tire and tools which totalled 40lbs on scale...so is it possible?

I dont know how much power increase your mods are yeilding but i ran a 9.07 with FIPK, 100 octane gas and a passenger. 8.6 would be a little hard i assume. Oh and may i add i reved my ap2 to 6.8k rpm at launch on a fresh rear end
Yeah I have never been to a drag track that has timers. We have a car group back home that drag races every weekend so I have raced quite a bit but never at a actual track. I pretty much gather that a stock s will run a very low 9 just stock so I assumed with my mods and my decent driving ability that I should, in theory lol, hit mid to high 8's but who knows. I might be the worst driver ever and get a 10 or something haha.

Well for it to have been my first time at the track I think I did pretty good. I ran my uncles 2011 Mustang 5.0 4 times. I won 3 out of 4 times lol. My best time was 9.0070 with 2.03 60ft. The only run he beat me on was my first run. My other times were another 9.0xx, 9.2, 9.4(missed 2nd). I need to work on my 1-2 shift a little bit and I might actually get my mid-high 8's.
