Increasing the redline (assuming you don't destroy your motor) would only make more noise longer. You'd have to make some serious modifications to get more power past redline.

No, I know for sure I hit 13k, cuz I modifed my dash, and extended the part past the 9 to go up to 13, and I defenitely saw it hit 13.

 

My amp goes to 11.
